ERGON Sports Massage Course
The sports massage course is an intensive two-day training programme combining theory with extensive hands-on practice. It covers the principles of sports massage, the use of different massage techniques, and working with athletes before exercise, after exercise and in sports pathology cases. Particular emphasis is placed on practical technique and adapting massage to different body zones and load types.
During the course you will learn
- the theoretical foundations of sports massage;
- massage techniques, their use, indications and contraindications;
- the main sports massage techniques — effleurage, kneading, friction, vibration, percussion and stripping massage;
- warm-up and cool-down massage techniques;
- sports massage for the trunk;
- applying sports massage for muscle strains, tendinopathies and other sports pathologies;
- working with lower- and upper-limb load.

Instructor: Konstantinos Mylonas, Pt, BSc, MSc — senior physiotherapist at ERGON PHISIO CENTER (Athens), head, co-founder and senior instructor of ERGON Technique IATSM — or one of the ERGON Technique senior instructors.
